Introduction
The U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council and its educational affiliate of the U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council Education Forum have an ongoing program of events and technical assistance programs designed to address specific issues related to such topics as antidumping, customs, tariffs, textiles, etc. To promote open dialogue and best practices in these areas, the Trade Council and its Education Forum conduct technical assistance programs such as fellowships, study missions, conferences, seminars, curriculum development and exchanges, and other related events.

Study Mission on Financial Services & Budgetary Restructuring and Fiscal Policy - Singapore, March 28-31, 2004
The US-Vietnam Trade Council, in pursuant to a grant by the USAID, organized a study mission of delegation from the Finance Ministry of Vietnam to visit Singapore. During the mission, the delegation met with Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Trade & Industry. Sanitary & Phytosanitary Measures Study Mission - Washington, DC & Oklahoma City, OK, July 19-27, 2003
The US-Vietnam Trade Council, in pursuant to a grant by USAID, organized a study mission for Vietnamese officials involved in implementing the US-Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement. The mission's objective is to study legal, regulatory and policy issues relating to implementation of Vietnam's SPS obligations under the Bilateral Trade Agreement, including conducting scientifically-based risk assessments and developing legislation and policies for Vietnam's SPS regime.
