USVTC IPR Reference Collection - General Sciences Library
Ho Chi Minh City

The U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council is working with representatives of the international trade community (including the U.S. Consulate, American legal practitioners, the Vietnamese legal community and businesses) to establish a first class collection of legal documents and case law in support of the development and enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights. This project aims at building the capacity of local lawyers, judges, law students, and business people so that they may be better able to address specific IPR issues arising from Vietnamís economic integration.

A section of the General Sciences Library in Ho Chi Minh City -- across the street from the Peopleís Court of HCMC -- will be allocated and maintained specifically for books, journals, laws and other resources on intellectual property rights, protection and enforcement. This resource will be open to the public and available for judges, lawyers, businesses, academics, and others interested in IPR development.
