 Mr. Cato Adrian – Counsellor, Accessions Division, WTO Secretariat
in Hanoi to work with Vietnam WTO Negotiation Team

July 30, 2003, Hanoi:  The U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council Education Forum is pleased to be assisting with the visit of Cato Adrian – Counsellor, Accessions Division, WTO Secretariat.  Mr. Adrian is in Hanoi July 30 – August 6, 2003 to work with Members of Vietnam’s WTO Negotiation Team in preparation for their next round of submissions to the Working Party.   Mr. Adrian will also participate in a two-day seminar titled “Vietnam’s Accession to the World Trade Organization: Strategies for Negotiations and the Implementation Process” sponsored by New York Life International. 

 “We are pleased for the opportunity to be able to assist Vietnam’s team by facilitating Mr. Adrian’s visit to Hanoi”, said Virginia Foote, President of the U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council.  “We hope that the timing of his trip will useful towards Vietnam’s next round of submissions to the Working Party this September.  We look forward to continuing our work with our Vietnamese counterparts and are committed to assisting Vietnam in its goal of joining the global trading body by 2005.”
